MRT test for food sensitivity
It is understandable that you may have known IgG test but it is not the best marker for inflammation. Elevated IgG level doesn’t necessarily mean that the individual is having an inflammatory response to a particle food. It may indicate the food can be "good or bad". It might just mean that the person was exposed to that food.
“IgG4 against foods indicates that the organism has been repeatedly exposed to food components, recognized as foreign proteins by the immune system. Its presence should not be considered as a factor which induces hypersensitivity, but rather as an indicator for immunological tolerance, linked to the activity of regulatory T cells. In conclusion, food-specific IgG4 does not indicate (imminent) food allergy or intolerance, but rather a physiological response of the immune system after exposition to food components. Therefore, testing of IgG4 to foods is considered as irrelevant for the laboratory work-up of food allergy or intolerance and should not be performed in case of food-related complaints.”
It is a Complete DNA analysis has transformed the field of microbiology. "Almost all research of microbes utilize DNA methodology. The NIH has followed suit with initiatives including the Human Microbiome Project, which characterized the microbiome of 15 habitats of the body using DNA analysis.
More than ever before, we are keenly aware of the health benefits or disease risks brought about by the microorganisms that inhabit the human body. Culture techniques, previously the standard, left up to 50% of bacterial species virtually invisible. Because most of the bacteria of the GI tract are anaerobes, culture based methods cannot cultivate them which leaves a large blind spot for clinicians when trying to diagnose the source of infection.
Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory is pleased to partner with you to bring true ADVANCES in microbial testing. Our commitment to laboratory medicine is to utilize proven methodologies that are accurate and reliable. We are pleased to offer clinicians the first of many advances, the GI-MAP™ (GI Microbial Assay Plus)."
True DNA/PCR Assay
Rapid TAT – Results in 3-7 days!
Quantitative PCR Pathogen Testing
High Sensitivity and Specificity
Antibiotic Resistance Genes
"The GI-MAP stool test utilizes cutting edge, Quantitative PCR technology to provide a true DNA/PCR based stool test. This technology has high sensitivity, specificity and a rapid turnaround. The GI pathogens include bacteria, parasites and viruses.
Continuing with this platform, the GI-MAP measures opportunistic organisms, normal flora, fungi, parasites and antibiotic resistance genes. And the Plusrefers to immunologic markers for GI health and function including SIgA, Elastase, Calprotectin and Anti-gliadin testing."
The SpectraCell Solution "is integral to your goal of optimizing patient outcomes by facilitating the prevention and early detection/ diagnosis of deficiency and disease, while helping guide effective treatment options. Our tests help you, the provider, in addressing multiple areas of the diagnostic puzzle including micronutrient status, cardiovascular health, metabolic risk, inflammation, and hormone health - in short, many of the functional components that comprise total health. These product solutions are also indispensable for the evaluation of autoimmune and neurodegenerative conditions, cancer, rate of aging, psychiatric illness, and general wellness. Finally, our products allow you to monitor the impact of treatment over time, which is critical for identifying and restoring metabolic inadequacies, attenuating dysfunction, and optimizing health. "
Answers your questions of why certain foods can be tolerated based on YOUR genetic makeup. Swap testing is done in my practice. If your OBESE, or finding yourself working out so much and don't understand why you can't have the body of your dreams.
